I just took the BEC exam. Just like the other 2 I’ve taken, I felt so depleted and unsure. How do you know if the multiple choice questions were harder for the second time? The first section had more solving and the second was more conceptual.

I do not think there is necessarily a way to know if your second set of MCQs got harder, but I've always felt if the MCQs got wordier and with wordier answers than perhaps they got more difficult. If you are feeling unsure about it, it could be a sign that they were difficult, but I don't know too many people who feel certain after taking an exam haha. Best of luck!

Take a deep breath. I realize people talk about how you should expect your second testlet to get more difficult if you did well on the first. However, I can also tell you that people have said they've experienced the opposite and still received fantastic scores. I would think of “difficult” as involving more computations, more tricks, or more information. It would be hard to tell because by the end of each exam my brain is fried.

I ended up with an 86. Thanks for the help. It literally goes to show you that you just can't tell.
