So I used NINJA MCQ and I honestly don’t “guess” on answers. I stay true to myself and try understanding each and every question so I do not memorize the answer and skew my trending score.

Can anyone give me some advice on how to overcome the 70 point mark? I also use NINJA Notes. Should I invest in another review material like Wiley MCQ? This is so frustrating…

    Thank you in advance

Read from a solid textbook source too. Questions only cover specific topics, and there are a gazillion specific topics you could be asked about

Yes read the book. I am in the same boat. NOW I am reading the book and going very slow. MC do not cover everything. Also watch the lectures again. There is some thing you are missing. DO not try to finish the stuff. It will not help. BEC is all conceptual base. Get cram it will be faster and a good review. All this is time consuming but it will help you to go above 71, 74…..? Relax it is the key to exam. When ever I relax I do better . Also some one posted a good templet on the forum for wc.I was weak on WC, by using that templet I am now comparable in score. Good luck.

BEC was more knowing the concepts and materials over practicing MCQ. You want to know the concepts, ratios, formulas, etc. Also, you want to make sure your writing is fine. You want to get the total 15/15 points on the 2 grades writing questions. 1 is thrown away so when you get to the last testlet, go and look at all 3 of the questions and do the 2 easiest ones first so you are fresher for those. As for format:
    1) A brief intro addressing the point of the memo (if it is a memo). It can be one sentence.
    2) The body paragraphs should be ~5 sentences per one, each addressing a topic of its own. I have found I only needed 2 body paragraphs when I was practicing and same with the test. Remember, you don't need to be factually correct. You just need to answer the topic in a formal tone. A computer grades it. Only time an actual person grades it is if you are on the border of Pass/Fail. So don't worry if you never seen the topic before.
    3) A brief conclusion like this: If you have any additional questions, please feel free to contact me at your earliest convenience.. OR: Please feel free to contact me if you have an additional questions about “Said subject matter.”. One sentence will do. And that is it.
Reread it and check for spelling/grammatical errors, etc.

Start from the beginning and restudy everything. The test changes each quarter and the material for BEC is so vast. I failed BEC as well. I went back to the beginning and pushed through to the end. I purchased the Ninja MCQ and spent the last 1.5 weeks before my exam doing as many questions as I could. Keep pushing, you’ll get there!
