Okay so I used yeager on FAR, worked my butt off and got a 77, but was averaging 74 on my wiley practice exams.

So i studied using yeager for AUD, throughout the lectures i did the MCQ and watched all the videos, took notes, and really felt like i understood the material. I was averaging a 93 on exams on questions i had not seen before on the wiley test bank. I did not put in the hours i did for FAR, but with an average of 93, and since i am an auditor, i felt like I was getting the material and did not need as much time as i did for FAR, however I did put in quite a bit of work, just not as much as i did for FAR.

Then test day came, and I feel like the material was completely inadequate to prepare me for this exam, i feel like I probably bombed that test and am wondering if anyone else has had this experience?

I think it's the luck of the draw when considering your test. I felt like Yaeger prepared me very well for FAR & AUD, but not for REG…again, I think it's just the test you get.

I used Yaeger and the Wiley Test Bank for AUD and would have bet my paycheck that I had failed…I ended up with a 92. Moral of the story: You can't know you failed until you receive your score. Try not to sweat it until the score release.

BTW, I am telling myself the same thing right now. I don't feel confident in my REG exam and am stressing a little bit about that.

@dethnode – I use Yaeger and had some stuff on my AUD exam too that threw me for a loop, but I think that happens on all of the exams no matter what study material you use. As mentioned, some people seem to get ‘easier' exams than others.

For example, many others say they have 2, 3, or more SIMS they can answer word for word from AL. However, I had zero help from AL on SIMS. I knew coming out that I had failed AUD because of the SIMS and my report confirmed that. It wasn't Yaeger's fault so much as it was the luck of the draw with the exam (and specific reasons I can't disclose).

If you haven't done so already, I would recommend that you read through some of the ‘exam experience' threads. You'll find people using different study materials there experience the same thing. Also, I remember reading other posts here from auditors that had trouble passing AUD, so you are not alone.
