Basically, I just want to consider how long should I prepare for the retake, and when should I schedule it? I don’t want to wait too long since a lot of this stuff is still fresh, but at the same time, I want to give myself enough time to prepare, and I’m currently also in the process of applying to this job that’s going to be on my mind until it’s resolved one way or the other. And due to availability, the earliest I can take it is on January 26, 2015.

The second week in January can be a good period, gives you about a month of review of Audit before sitting for the exam and still have about six weeks for FAR given your signature. Hope that helps.

I just checked the seating availability and unfortunately for January, most of the seats are already filled. The only two weeks with seats open for that month are the first week of January and the last week of January. If I schedule it in the last week of January, then it's going to be a long wait until score release. But at the same time, I don't want to schedule it at mid-Feburary because that would be dragging it out too long.
