Hey guys, I read that some of you have stated that when you didn’t know an answer to a sim or sims, you would search for answers on the authoritative literature. I only use the authoritative literature for the research question.

How can we use the authoritative literature to answer insanely difficult sim questions???

You click on authoritative literature and look up the rule to help you answer the question. I personally feel that utilizing material provided to you shows them you are a problem solver.

The literature isn't going to help you on equations and complex math problems. But it can definitely bail you out if you get stumped on a conceptual issue during a SIM.

For example, I had a particular SIM that was kind of a fill-in-the-blanks style SIM, and I found an example in the literature during the exam that was almost identical to the SIM I had. I almost jumped out of my chair for joy when I found it.

Don't walk into the exam DEPENDING on the literature. But learn to navigate it well enough to be able to call upon it quickly should the need arise.

    FAR - 86 - Woot, all done!
