Auditing was always more difficult to grasp (I’m a tax guy). Just passed FAR recently and want to move on to AUD before tackling BEC and REG again which I have to pass again. AUD was the reason I lost my two other scores. Any tips to master AUD? Sometimes all answers are correct and I choose the right one but not the best one…. Also I am pretty solid on the ethics, professional responsibilities and general principles section. My weakest sections include: the reporting section specifically the random attestation stuff, sampling and transaction cycles

Any help would be great I’m about 40 days away from my exam

Everything is in the standards for Audit. Print this page and read it. If you are using Ninja MCQs go through in order and refer to the standards as you go through the questions.

Know what standards exist and read through a few at least to know how they are written and organized. This will be extremely helpful with the research question and sims, too.

Know PCAOB-5 for public companies.

Audit is not about memorizing it is about understanding a very step-wise process that requires certain activities based on where you are in the process.
