I feel like sometimes I understand them but then I get tripped up again! I can’t get them down…does anyone have any tips to understand the assertions? I feel they may be important on the exam.

Mcqs. Learn by doing. I also believe ninja has some sims on this also. Learn by doing the questions and getting them wrong. When you get them wrong don't think of it as a failure but a learning opportunity.
