Got my score for my AUD re-take. ANOTHER 72! (would have been cooler to get two 71s to be true to this site haha). Needless to say, I’m confused and PISSED. I took 6 weeks to re-study and felt good about my retake. I didn’t have the best luck with SIMs this time around though. My first time I was able to find 4 of the 7 almost word-for-word in the AL but not this time so that may have hurt me a little bit. But I already have a tentative re-test date. Just have to wait 48 hours to apply for another NTS and spend another $200+ for application and exam fees (ridiculous!)

This is my 3rd failure of this exam and I am finally angry with this darn test. I’m ready to do what I should have been doing all along: no time for fun, no TV, getting up early and staying up late to study, and anything and everything else that I need to do to pass AUD and then REG and BEC after. I already passed FAR so I’m sure I can pass my other 3!

I WILL be a CPA. This test WILL NOT break me. I’m coming for you AUD, you better be ready on 10/6!

    FAR: 65, 77!
    AUD: 72, 72, 80!
    REG: 64, 84!
    BEC: 83!
    Ethics: 98!

Yes, I know where you are coming from. Taking it the section that you know you pass, and the results shows that you didn't make it..A sense of anger… and also a sense of determination and motivation to do better without any TV, distractions will definitely overcome the beast on those sections.

I failed FAR miserably, but that didn't stop me because I said to myself, that I am going to work hard by answering MCQs on the TB, and study smarter. It is tough when I am working full-time, and you're trying to stick to learn and study the material lets say 1 to 2 chapters a night until you master on my 2nd and 3rd day before moving on to the next topic.

I rely mostly on Kaplan notes, Ninja Notes and Audio, and then the TB to answer the MCQs and Simulations questions.

I know FAR is my weakest section… but the results will likely improve— when time, determination and more motivation to “strive 4 75”. This is my mantra when taking the exam.

FAR – waiting for ATT to be fulfilled until I can retake 2014

AUD ?? – waiting for results on December 9th, 2013

    BEC (1/30/2014)

    REG (2/30/2014)

Hey KRerib….Studying hard. I hate to give up the holidays and get ready for tax season, but I'm still angry. I have to do this.

I am going over the info again, then I am going to use cram.

    Good luck on Reg.

    It begins with a 75

I absolutely loved reading this thread. I think your attitude and approach towards the exam really paid off, K_Reib08. I'm going to approach my BEC attempt in January the same way you approached your Audit attempt. I wish you the best of luck on REG!

@GoGators–what do you mean your BEC retry in Jan? Did you push it further out from 12/5? I'm assuming so I took my BEC exam on 12/5 and wasn't expecting my results until next week (but if you actually took your exam on 12/5 and got your results already, I need to check mine!! That would be uuuber fast grading though, which would shock me)

Hey Mints – you and I both got a 72 and then a 74 on FAR. Time to knock that test OUT!

The fact that you passed the rest gives me hope for the future. I'd really like to have one pass!! Grrr! I'm going to take BEC as scheduled and try to get FAR rescheduled ASAP after that.

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

“the test never did anything to you”

    LOL

    I differ:

The AICPA is conspiring with NASBA, PCAOB, FASB, IASB, IRS, case law, US Congress, and Prometric to complicate accounting and the exam unnecessarily, in order to make me, and only me (the king of the world) fail.

These institutions must be punished severely for their illegal transgressions, and the CPA test must be made easier for me to be able to pass.
