What is the best time allocation for AUD? I have a tough time with exam and not getting too fixated with certain questions sections so I want my AUD retake to be more structured. I did not have enough time on the SIMS last time and ended up scoring weaker although I felt confident in most of them. Assuming I nailed the MCQ’s I was thinking of allocating my time like this
    Testlet 1 – 40 mins
    Testlet 2- 45 mins
    Testlet 3 – 45 mins
    SIMS – 110 mins
    Thoughts?

I shoot to complete each testlet in 30 minutes knowing that it may take as many of 40 on harder ones. At a certain point thinking about these questions more than necessary drains you and leaves you too tired for the sims. I like to leave at least a full 2 hours for the sims.

I agree with your times Cruzer. Doing well on the MCQ's and getting harder testlets seems to be very important. 30 minutes per testlet is too fast, unless u are very, very comfortable with the Audit material or you are an auditor. You should read every Audit MCQ twice to make sure u understand every important word. But, no more than 45-50 mins max per testlet. That's my opinion, but others may differ.

I think going with 35 on the first testlet is a good strategy since you know (it's going to be the easiest testlet you'll get) then 40 to 45 on the second and the third, so then you'll have up to 120 minutes for the sims. This is not only because you're 100% sure that the first testlet is going to be the easiest but also you would have enough energy to read the question and understand it without the need of reading it twice or even worse -three times or more- to be able to answer it with confidence.
