I find as I am looking through the Audit flashcards that I can give some kind of vague answer as to what the back of the flashcard will say, but no way can I recall the huge paragraph answers that Becker has.
Here’s what I am thinking, though–what’s the value to being able to do that? I’m very glad this exam isn’t written with cold, fill in the blank questions because if it was, I would never pass. I know a lot of the content on these flashcards, and when I come across it in a multiple choice question I am able to identify which answer is the correct answer. Still, I can’t always guarantee that I’ll be able to spout a bunch of information given a question and no a, b, c, d to choose from.
Anyone else find that their memory works this way–if you see options, you can pick the right one but if you didn’t have those options you might draw a total blank?
