I don’t know what else to do. I consistently get 47% on my quizes (30 questions at a time). I’ll be off over the weekend and July 4th. I plan to do more MCQ and SIMS until Monday then focus on studying concepts and released questions Tuesday and Wednesday. Any other suggestions?

Go back and read the material. That might sound daunting but for audit I re-read the whole book word for word in two days a few days before my exam. After that was consistently getting %90+ on my 33 question progress tests. I also made sure I was absorbing what i read and wrote down stuff I thought was important, not to go back and look at, but so my brain would absorb it. I only spent 5-6 hours per day for 2 days and was able to read the whole book. I don't recommend this for somebody their first time through but in the final review stage I found this to be useful as you should already have a good foundation and understanding of the material.

If you can take your notes or audio with you over the holiday weekend and look/listen on any off time you have. I know a lot of people don't like last minute study and think “if I don't know it by now it's too late to learn” but I really feel like there's a lot of things you can take in the last few days before a test that will be fresh in your head for the exam. I haven't taken a CPA exam yet, but I know in college I could remember the things I studied last the best, so try to go over the areas you are struggling the most with.
Hopefully if you can review even for a short amount of time over the weekend you will feel a little stronger in some of the concepts when you begin your last two days of studying and then you can really focus in on your last two days.

I think reading the book/ notes again is my best bet. On the note of last minute study. I do also recall last information better. I did it for REG and even study some quick info 1 hr before the test. So I agree with you Ann, I better use every minute I have until the test.

BTW I requested PTO for 7/5 so I think I may be able to just study the whole book Tuesday and Wednesday. I really want to pass.
