This will be my first exam and I would be lying if I said wasn’t nervous. I’m going through each section in depth right now and going through their respective MCs. Right now I’m in the Internal control section and I absolutely HATE the transaction cycles. I just don’t understand it at all. I mean, there are a few MCs that make sense, but even after reading it over, I still get a lot of them wrong. Another section i’m not too comfortable with is some of the evidence section. For example, doing analytical procedures.. do you have to know the different ratios? There are like 20 different ratios in the Roger book, but I probably know like 2 or 3 of them. The rest of the sections are mostly fine.. I know I still have a few days left, but how bad would it exactly be if I don’t have a good grasp of transaction cycles and analytical procedure ratios? Thanks.

Hey I just took the AUD exam last Thursday. I felt that part of AUD was less about memorization tricks and more about common sense.

    Best of luck

Thanks for the advice. Yeah, I probably should have taken FAR before. I definitely should have started studying for the CPA exam earlier in the year. I took auditing first before the new changes rolled around.

EDIT: Looks like your post got ninja edited.
