What are “opinion formats and reports?” Please elaborate and give an example in Becker.

They are talking about the unqualified, qualified, adverse, disclaimer, modified unqualified, reviews, compilations. The wording differences of each, what dictates an auditor having to choose one report over another. The positioning of the explanatory paragraph whether it is before or after the opinion paragraph. You need to know this inside and out for the audit exam. Hope this helps. Good Luck!!

I've failed AUD 2x (70,69) and don't think I had more than 2 MCQs on reports each time…..I memorized every report and can write them all down word-for-word….but now I think you just need a general understanding about the reports…..I don't think the reports are really tested that much….

NJCPA2B: I would disagree. I had a decent portion of my exam cover opinion reports. They can make up anywhere from 12-18% of the exam.

NY Candidate using Becker: FAR (2/20) - 81, AUD (4/3) - 92, REG (5/3) - 95, BEC (5/29) - 89 DONE!!!
