Hello all, I’m taking the AUD exam tomorrow. I’ve spent about 4 to 5 weeks with the material. I’ve gone over the Wiley HW Modules about twice now.

I feel confident about what I know, but granted there are a few concepts that I’ll just never know by tomorrow… But I consider them to be immaterial 🙂

I figure i’d just spend today Resting my mind watching the MLB playoffs and Sunday NFL. Any last minute advice or kind words from those who already took AUD?

Just relax like you are doing and rest tonight. Remember on Audit you can take your time. Read the questions and before you look at the answers, think about what YOU think the answer is.

On the simulations, you can use the research tab to look up reference to your other tabs. For example, if they want you to write a report or letter, look it up on the research tab.

Eat a protein filled breakfast and take a break during the exam to refresh your mind. Good luck!

Thanks for the tips buddy. But maybe write out an audit report huh? I've never done that before. Maybe I should look over that before I turn in for the night. Well, I'll follow your advice and hopefully the research tab can help out.

You might not really have to write one out but you need to know how the different audit reports vary from types of opinions and engagement types.

Understood potatogun. That actually helps to calm the nerves a bit about actually writing one from scratch. I feel pretty comfortable about the different reports. Thanks for your input.

I've seen in my review that something like writing a document from scratch may pop up as a written communication. I can't imagine they would actually ask such a thing. I didn't even need the research tab for my written communications since they were not bad at all.

You may have have to fill in the blanks of a report or letter from a drop down, but again, you can use the research tab to assist you. If you are comfortable with the different reports, you should be just fine.

Sounds like you put in plenty of study time so you should do well.

Finally done. I ran the clock down to the final minute before submitting it. I was able to do each testlet and simulation twice in the 4.5 hours.

Now on a nice mental holiday for the night. Next up, BEC!
