    Hello all,

I’m sorry if this overlaps other questions. While going over my notes and MCQs I realized I’m a little shaky about Subsequent Events and the auditor’s responsibility for them.

I know the auditor should date his/her report for when sufficient evidence was found to justify the opinion OR he/she can dual date it. Beyond that–whether a Type I or Type II–I’m unsure what the auditor’s responsibility/liability is.

Knowing my luck, I’m gonna get a fat simulation on it with 20 scenarios. Exam disclosure aside, I’d appreciate any tips, guidance on the subject.

I know it’s last minute (exam is on Wednesday June 8).

Thanks. Good luck to everyone on their exam(s)!

Subsequent events is like a guy hooking up with a Hot Woman at a bar.

The subsequent event is that 9 months later she comes to tell the guy the kid is his.

Now the guy can investigate to determine if the kid is his or do nothing and wait to find out on Maury Povich.

I'm more of a Jerry Springer, guy. They have stripper poles and boxing sound affects.
