I took both in the same testing window but did NOT study for them at the same time. I spent about 8 weeks on AUD, took the exam, then moved to BEC (had about 7 weeks left). I use Becker, and the first 3 chapters really bogged me down because there are a lot of computations and MCQ's to do. After that I was able to get through the last 3 chapters a little quicker. Currently in review stage to take the exam on the 30th.

    FAR - 92 (4/27/12)
    AUD - 96 (7/17/12)
    BEC - 92 (8/30/12)
    REG - 91 (11/12/12)

my tip/suggestion would be to not study for two at the same time or you will start confusing concepts.

I took both in July and passed. I sat for them in two consecutive days.

It can be done…. I studied for close to 4 months though.

Have a look at my post to see how I studied.

But remember, you have to commit to balance your time and force yourself to study the non favourite ( of course you will have a favourite, I favoured AUD).

You want to focus on the progress on terms of material covered and mcqs and not just hours put in.

    Good luck !
