Studying for AUD, failing in my opinion….

I’ve spent the past three weeks studying for AUD with Becker and am actually going to be taking my exam in two weeks. I’ve just finished going through the six chapters and am about to start my final review. Any suggestions on how to study or what areas to focus on most heavily?

I’ve already taken FAR and actually felt like I was remembering things a lot better as my strong point is definitely calculations over theory. At this point it’s all mixed up in my head and I don’t feel like I have a chance in hell at passing…

Practice practice practice the MCQ's. Repetition helped for my audit.

Same here. For me, it didn't feel like everything came together until the last week. Don't panic, just crank out as many MCQ's as possible. Understand why you got questions wrong and learn from those. You still have time!!

Read the Ninja Notes (@ least 5 times), get the simulations from CPAReviewForFree (go over them @ least 3 times). Rework the MCQs until you fall asleep on your desk. Dreams take a lot of work before they become reality..:)

30-40 hours of final review should put you in a good shape.

My audit experience was very similar to Little Moe's. I wouldn't have passed the exam a week before I took it… In addition, don't be too nervous if you don't know all of the transaction cycles.

I agree, practice the MCQs is the best. Make sure you understand right and wrong answers. I'd also make sure to know the difference between different audit reports from Unqualified vs Qualified vs Review vs Compeliation vs etc. To know the key factors of what goes in each report would be helpful. Good luck.
