    Hii Guys,

I am preparing for Audit its my third attempt, I am preparing with Becker Self study materials,Wiley Testbank, Ninja combo lite.

I want to solve all the mcq’s from becker and wiley, make my own notes, rewrite Ninja notes because I think they are to the point and will help me to get the basics straight to my head.I study by writing, reading may help but I have to write. Thats why it take time.

My weak area is Simulations esp in area of Internal control and transaction cycles for which I am planning to read wiley book it really has detailed explanations.

Now the thing where I am worried is should I watch the Becker lecture again?? OR Read the textbook and understand on my own. Have already seen them for first attempt fully.

Watching Videos takes too much time. But somewhere in podcasts i remember Jeff told to watch the videos even for reattempt?? For my second attempt i just watched videos for A1& A4

Any one who skipped watching lectures??

I am feeling overwhelmed 🙁 May be because I am thinking a lot … Looking for your inputs guys.

    Thanks & Good Luck

I took and passed audit without watching lectures – actually, I never have been in a lecture for it at all, since my audit class in undergrad was online, too, and I just read book for it. So, lectures are not required.

I think Jeff's point is – and I agree with this completely – is that when doing a retake, you need to treat it like a first-take and do a full review. Wiley is a full review…but from what I”ve gathered, the books accompanying a video course (aka Becker) aren't a full review, so if you just read the BEcker books or just did MCQs, that might not be enough. But reading WIley cover-to-cover, doing MCQs, notes, etc., is a full review and should do it for you!

Also going to 2nd that Audit is NOT a memorization exam. In my opinion, it is the most concepts-based of all the exams and the one where memorization will help the least.
