Should I reschedule AUD?

Okay, here is my current situation:

-Scheduled REG for July 6. Unfortunately I can’t move that day. Also I do not feel adequately prepared to pass.

-Currently scheduled AUD for August 17, the last date I can schedule it. I plan to study it for 6 weeks, starting from July 7.

Here’s the wrench in my plans: I have go to on an audit trip from August 5-9, which is the week before I plan to take AUD. With that in mind, should I still stick with the August 17 date (6 weeks, with 1 week being on the audit trip)? Or should I move it to August 3, which is right before the audit trip (4 weeks)?

Is your audit trip bound to be filled with drinking and “ladies dancing” clubs like most auditors I know?

If so, do it before the trip.

Conversely, If you are a well-behaved auditor, why not use those nights on the trip to do some moderate or light studying each night for an hour or 2? Cant hurt if you really crunch down and learn before the trip, and save those days just for review.

    REG - 65, 70, 80!
    BEC - 35, 62, 79!
    AUD - 73, 75!
    FAR - 65, 73, 70, 75! DONE.

I take AUD July 6th. Play on taking BEC within 6 weeks while working full-time.

Work your hours. And then study once you're done. No excuses, broseph.

    FAR: 50, 76!
REG: 74... (ouch baby, very ouch), 76!
    AUD: 65, 91!?
    BEC: 80! Aaaand doneskies!

    May 2012 to August 2013. Can't believe it's over.

@nbad311 I'm pretty new at my job and so this will be my first audit trip so I honestly don't know what to expect lol.

Personally I would keep it later and study during your trip. I was studying for REG when I had to go to National training last summer. While most people went out drinking after training each day, I went back to my room and studied. I'm not big on going out drinking all night, so I didn't mind, but it's all about self-discipline. If people do go out at night, just tell them you need to study. It's an audit trip so the rest of the people on your team should understand forgoing drinking for studying.

@k917 Thanks, I might just to that. I don't like drinking anyways (I'm old enough, but I just don't like it lol).
