I have 3 finals next week and I am graduating on May 14th. I scheduled to take the Audit exam on May 12th. However, I am burnout. I am only on Becker Audit 2 and I also need to spend time studying for finals.

My parents are visiting me and they booked a 20-day trip. I am thinking about reschedule the Audit. I scheduled FAR on July 6th.

I have 3 options now, please let me know what you think.

1) Fight through finals, fight through the CPA, take the Audit as planned on May 12th and enjoy traveling with my parents after the exam.

2) Focus on the finals, reschedule the audit to May 31. Studying while I am on the trip.

3) Reschedule the audit to August. Take FAR on July 6th as planned, and take Audit in August. However, I start to work full-time in July.

If I were you, I would move the test to May 31st and just try your best to pass it. Not sure where you're traveling or how much down time you will have, but I'd imagine if you're going with your parent you would be able to knock out some later evening studying.

BUT, I would say you should probably move FAR back also if you can to August 16th. On August 17th, you'll get your AUD score, and if you failed (hope you don't!) you'll still have about a month to re-take it at worst (the last date for Q3 is Sep 10th I believe).

My thinking is, you might as well take a shot. Since you have that long gap to receive your score anyway, and your “choice 3” would be to wait until August anyway…it wouldn't be that different to either just take a shot and maybe pass it in May or just take it again in early September. Good luck!

Thank you! It makes sense to push FAR back as well. However, my goal is finishing it before I start to work.
Change Audit to May 31st is feasible. It's just bit annoying that I cannot enjoy the trip. My parents are visiting me from another country. I want to have a good time with them.
Do you think it's possible to pass Audit if I stick with the originally plan? Take it on May 12th?

i don't see how you could get through the rest of Becker in the next 2.5 weeks, with finals and graduation looming… pushing it back to May 31 is better..

Working full time isn't prohibitive to studying, most people do it while working, so you could always push FAR back further as well…. 🙂 Good luck on your exams!
