Shortest Successful AUD Retake?

I have FAR set for Oct. 8, and I am planning to retake AUD after that. What is the shortest time someone has studied and passed AUD (as a retake)? I got a 68, but felt good coming out of the exam. I literally got thru 100% of the videos and MCQ on Becker in like 6 days, while working full time. I really want to try and pass this quarter, still waiting on REG results and should know next week, but Becker runs out in a week. I have purchased the Ninja MCQ for FAR. Thanks!

I studied for two weeks for AUD and passed with an 84! It was sorta a retake. I had taken AUD before and passed with a 77 but lost credit (this was also almost 2 years ago with no AUD studying since then). My strategy was focusing on internal control, transaction cycles and assertions. I just read too. So if Becker expires, you may be okay just re-reading the book and practice MCQ's with NINJA if you get it for AUD too. Good luck!!!! It's definitely doable!

@CPA_M3OW thank you! I actually have the Wiley Study guides as well, so I may use it for questions instead of Ninja. I appreciate the advice! 🙂

Received a 74 on my first attempt. I took AUD on Sept 8th and am retaking Oct 4th. I took the week and a half off from my test date to the score release date (Sept 20th). I'm hitting the books and MCQs for these next two weeks. The frustrating part was getting my score report and being Stronger, Comparable, Comparable, Stronger, Comparable, Stronger for each section, and Stronger on MCQs and Weaker on SIMs. I don't think being unprepared was the result, it had to be my unlucky draw (for me) of SIMs. If you are comfortable with the material, then I would say 2 weeks of reviewing the book and hitting MCQs should be a sufficient amount of time.

    AUD - 9/8/16
    FAR - 10/28/16

Mine was not a re-take but first go round I studied 15 days…. now granted it was 15 days of sheer and utter hell and I would never advocate anyone doing it but it is possible. I just hit the MCQs over and over again trying to figure out 1. how they were asking the question and 2. what answer they were looking for. If I got stuck I found the AU-C to be the most helpful resource.

and they ask me why I drink...

FAR- 61-next time I'll ask for lube instead of a calculator
REG-75- Never been so happy to see such a low grade
    BEC- 8/11
    AUD- 9/2

My situation is almost identical to hawkgolf. I took AUD on 9/8 and thought for sure that I passed. Then on 9/20 saw that I got a 71 (think I got a garbage TBS, but what can you do?). I also haven't even thought of the material since I took the exam on 9/8, but I was giving myself until Oct 13th to take my retake. Think that's too long?

Note that I also have to take a REG retake this window (and I haven't looked at the REG material since March).

    FAR - 75 November 2015
    REG - 69 April 2016 (WTH? Test I got isn't what I studied for)
    BEC - 81 June 2016
    AUD - TBD

I don't mean to disrespect what anyone is dong for there retake. I honestly think spending 3 weeks or so for a retake is a bad idea if your working full time.

I got a 69 on my first attempt on the 9/20 score release date. This is my last section needed, so im pushing my test date to mid/late November. That way, im giving myself all the time needed to be prepared. it might be too much for this section and might be overkill (hence me hitting 6000+ mcq's and not passing due to memorizing and not understanding).

    Good luck!

I studied 3 weeks for my retake and got a 79. I felt like I knew the whole book when I walked into the Prometric Center but soon realized I was barely prepared to take it.

    FAR 04/11/2016 - 84
    AUD 05/12/2016 - 79
    BEC 07/06/2016 - 81

    Congrats!…

Im curious, what did you do differently on your retake that you did do on your first attempt? (if you did do something different)

Im confused on how to improve (69 with a stronger in MCQs but weaker in sims). I did a lot of practice sims too. Not sure if I should switch from Ninja to a different test bank (wiley or roger).

I took AUD in Jan-2015 and scored a 71. I took it in Oct-2015 and scored an 81. When I took it in Oct-2015, I just did MCQs for maybe 10 days or 80ish hours.

    BEC - 85
    AUD - 81
    REG - 84
    FAR - 7/24/16
