    Hi all,

    1st post.. has anyone had any success with a score review? I took AUD and received a 36. I felt not much different than I did BEC (82), and I’m a decent test taker, so I can’t help but wonder whether it’s possible something messed up. Please advise and let me know if you’re aware of any review success stories. Thanks!

    P.S. (EDIT)

    I don’t know WTF the snarky comments about “being busted” or “nice try”. Please feel free to ask to connect with me on LinkedIn if you think I’m some kinda troll. I’ve never had such “treatment” in a forum.

    But to seriously answer your question i havent heard of anyone's score changing from a score review. If it were to happen it would only be a couple points not 40 some odd points you need. What are you looking to gain from a score review? to see the score of a 40 or 45 instead of a 36? I guess mistakes can happen but not by that much. I would just take the score as it should be taken… A learning experience that will be used to make sure next time you dont receive that score.

    I think the question is could there have been a serious glitch in the system that could cause such a low score. Not that just a few points were missing.

    If that's what OP is wondering, I think it's highly unlikely.

    Sorry.

    PLEASE SEE MY EDIT regarding the snarky comments. And what's the comment about my IP?

    young dude – if you're legit, then my apologies.

    A previous poster (perhaps someone at your office) who already passed shared your same IP and a “hey guys, should I get a re-score after a 36” post smelled like someone was bored and wanted to prank the forum.

    People try that stuff from time to time so when someone has a question like this – I automatically assume it's a joke.

    Go ahead and e-mail me a screenshot of your recent 36 if you would please.

    Again – I dont mean to come across a prick … this just looked like a troll job.

    No worries, I can see why you'd have suspicions. Yes, my co-worker passed with a 79 after his 3rd attempt (Hi Dave if you see this, lol). I will post a screenshot of my score to Picasa in a minute and share the link.

    @youngdude

    I apologize. That stinks that you got a 36. Like i said previously i dont think it would be worth it for you to contest your score, I have never heard of anyone actually winning one of them. Plus ultimately for it to be worth it NASBA would have to find 40 points in order for it to really matter, Anything less is still a failing grade. That would mean that they didnt grade one whole testlet at least from your test. That doesnt seem like it would be very probable of occuring. Take the 36, learn from it and move on. My apologies again.
