So my plan is to take FAR on July 1st. From what I can understand from past score releases is that my score will probably get to me, at the earliest, the first week of August. I am thinking that if it will take a month or more to get my score I should just go ahead and schedule my Audit exam for August 12th (recommended date by Becker Study Program). I was thinking I would go ahead and start studying after a few days break after my FAR exam for Audit and if I need to retake FAR then drop the AUD studying and pick up FAR studying again before going to sit for AUD. The dilemma is really how long I will be waiting for my FAR score since im taking it the first day of the testing window. Should I just schedule AUD instead of waiting… Any advice is certainly appreciated!

I would definitely schedule AUD and I wouldn't drop the AUD studying just because you didn't pass. The official release date for the first 20 days of the first window is August 6. So if you schedule for August 12, then you would be just about ready for the AUD exam by the time you get your score. You can go back and study for FAR if you don't pass after taking AUD.

Yes I agree with Clarissa. I can tell you from experience that the 18 months goes by fast! So if your plan is to take FAR and AUD this window – then just do that. If you do not pass FAR the earliest you can retake it is October 1st – so there really is no point in partially studying for AUD and then sitting that aside to restudy FAR if you don't pass. Just commit to taking AUD on whatever date you schedule regardless of your FAR score.

Thanks Clarissa and IwannabeaCPA! I will go ahead and schedule the AUD exam since I have the NTS and everything for it! Hoping for the best for this FAR exam July 1st! P.S. IwannabeaCPA, your blog story is awesome great job passing the exam! Looking forward to that feeling myself!
