Has anybody ever used cpareviewforfree.com as a standalone review for AUDIT and passed? I’m running out of time and have just three out of the six chapters down from Becker… I bought the essentials from cparff.com and was originally going to use them as a final review for the final week… but now I’m wondering if I should use them as a standalone (as they are intedted to be)…. please help!!!

never used cpaforfree…but the details were left out…when is your exam and when does your NTS expire?

Honestly, it sounds like you are drastically under prepared for the exam. assuming it is within the next week or so i would reschedule it for later in the testing period and use Becker like you are doing now.

Remember, your ability to succeed is directly correlated to the amount of work you put in so make the tough choices and knock this exam out.

I don't want to reschedule =( I think I can do it…. just wanted some opinions on AUDIT! I supplemented FAR with essentials from cparff.com and it seemed to be very complete and in plain English. Was just wondering if I should turst it as a standalone review material.

I have studied for 6 weeks on AUD, which in my opinion, is almost pushing too long.

Spend the $35 and reschedule for later in May. Rededicate yourself to studying and don't push the exam date again.

I've used Becker as a main course and practiced additional MCQ on cparevewff.com

At no time I would say that the latter is sufficient to pass the exam, but everyone is different and have different risk tolerance. There is a huge difference between knowing of being adequately prepared and thinking you can do it.

Keep posted of how it turns out, good luck, maybe it will go just fine who knows!

I have Mon-Tue-Wed 6pm – 12am Thurs-Sunday all day for the next two weeks. My NTS expires in October. I don't want to reschdule because I have already scheduled BEC for 05/3.

I'm absolutely panicking and ABSOLUTELY looking for short cuts…. I know this… I had scheduled to do 2 chapters a week and one week of final review, but somehow it takes me a very long time to finish the chapters and only did 3 chapters in 2 weeks. should I not watch the lectures and just read????

Is that the same schedule you've had all along though? I think there are 2 seperate issues/questions. One is the material sufficient to pass………maybe. Two is, will you have utilized it effectively.

Nobody wants to discourage you, but it is the rare individual who pulls these exams out of their posterior. Retaking exams is both exhausting and expensive. If you're admitting it takes you longer to learn than what you had originally planned, thats a good indication that you need to allow yourself extra time. You're intuitive enough to realize it takes you a long time to finish the chapters, use that as your guide to scheduling the exam. Trust me.

yes! same schedule! I did FAR at 2 chapters per week… don't know why this is happeneing to me now. I will continue Becker and reschedule next week if I feel like I won't make it. Thanks!

@dc…i think we are all trying to give you the best advice from our own and many others experience.

Study material hopping, cramming, etc are HUGE reasons why people fail. I personally am supplementing with NINJA for AUD…supplementing meaning that I have done everything from Becker and am using NINJA as a alternate view of the material…btw Jeff, the audio is awesome!

Look through the “I passed…” posts and see what other have done. Common theme's will arise:

1. Thousands of MCQ's

2. Writing Notes

3. Redoing 1 & 2

Remember, using historical exam passing rates, the majority of people who take the exam fail. Knowing this FACT, i would urge anyone to study for a 99 and accept a 75, rather than vice-versa. Most, if not everyone on this site want you and others to have the best chance at passing. Everyone is different, so if you think 10 days is enough time to actually understand the underlying concepts, then keep the exam date and get to studying!
