I know they seem straight forward, but what was/is your method for handling these. They should be easy points so I want to make sure I nail them.

Focus on keywords, etc? I noticed that in on of my practice sims on CPAExcel, I had to put in Section705. A32 Illustration 2 … how do you guys know when you should go with an illustration or just sub-section number?

I took audit today and had a research sim that was difficult to find. I used key word search, but too many results popped up.

I had to narrow my search by looking thru the table of contents to find the correct standards and section. From there I was able to use the “search within” that specific topic for keywords.

So you should be familiar with what topics the standards cover. You can't only rely on keywords.

I found the advance search tool very helpful! You can type in a phrase or can have it show results with only all the keywords you tell it. I'm not sure with the illustration or sub-section, but I would think to just see what the question is asking for, if it asks for an example probably an illustration or if it asks for guidance on it probably an explanation–you can usually tell if what you find answers the question or not
