Hey there,

Why do predecessor auditor need to reissue the report on the financial statements as long as the report is still appropriate? Any changes in the reissued report?

Well, I guess the reason for the reissuance of the prior period report is due to the presentation requested by the successor auditor as long as the report is still appropriate. But not quite sure yet.

this is from my notes, i hope you can find it useful.

A report is reissued for the following reasons:

1) subsequent annual report filled with SEC or other regulatory agencies

2) client requests auditor to submit additional copies to be sued for comparative F/S

Thats all i have on my notes.
