The thing is that i dont know what do, restudy (again!!!) or going with BEC, the aud material is fresh but i dont know if itis a good idea to stick with the same part… And if I do, how can i prepare better for sims???!!!!!! need some advice and past experience from you guys!

    thanks!

Audit is a b*tch! Honestly, I feel as if you can't really prepare for SIMs, but rocking out as many MCQ's is imperative in order to pass Audit.

-Do you remember the answers to your software's questions? If so, get another test bank because you aren't learning from them anymore.

-Are you getting questions right because you are simply guessing or is it because you know the reasoning behind the answers?

Best of luck! Oh, and if you can, write out the auditor's report in full at least once a day. Seems like a hassle, but it helped a lot!

Oh, and if it wasn't obvious, I think you should totally take on AUD again while it's still fresh in your mind. If your schedule allows it, I would even advise you to take it early October after you finish all the MCQ's your eyes can handle.

Ok just over a year ago I failed AUD for a 2nd time with a 71. It was my last section anyway. I scheduled it 30 days out, got Jeff's Ninja notes. Wrote them, rewrote them, (9 pages per day every day without fail, I got through them 3 times in those 30 days) and hammered MCQ's until I puked. Got me an 84 🙂

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Have you passed any sections yet? I found audit to be much easier after I took FAR. Id move on to a different section (FAR) and circle back to Audit.

    REG- 81
    BEC- 72,76
    AUD- 67,88
    FAR- 78

    Done!

I could easily see how it just depends on which SIMs you get. I received my failing grade of 71 this past window and also had stronger in MCQ's and weaker in SIMs. I think I know which Simulation areas I must have bombed in this time so that gives me a focal point but I am re-doing of the Becker program && I've added NINJA notes to the mix and have committed to rewriting 11 pages a day. I really recommend that you stick with Audit and get aggressive about your tactic. Try to focus on the SIMs you had this past quarter and figure out where you think you went wrong in answering them. Strengthen those topics.

    FAR 4/9/12- PASSED
    BEC 7/13/12- PASSED
    AUD 8/16/12- Ughhh 71, Rematch: 90!!!
    REG-12/6/12 PASSED

    thanks!!!

my first though and logic move is retake!!! but those sims…!!!!!!!!!! honestlly i use becker book for this time, and practice mcq with cpaexcell software, wiley test bank and cpareview for free. oh!!! and have jeff notes, i read the book once, jeff notes almost every day, and hand notes from the cpaexcel lectures tha i took the first time.

@Zaiitz3 the questions are similar but didnt remeber the answer, and most of the time i know the reasoning, i rare guess..

i will take your advice in the rewriting process,

    thanks for the replies guys!!!

and on exam day don't forget you can use the authoritative literature on each and every one of the sims, not just the research question. Giving some (but not an obscene amount of) attention to practicing using the search is well worth it!
