I have heard from numerous people saying that you should focus most of your time on the multiple choice questions to really understand the topics and for the most part I agree. For BEC and FAR, i spent around 90% of my time reviewing the MC questions after going through the material and it worked out well.

For audit, I find myself after each lecture re-reading the material and writing condensed notes. I have two more sections to get through before my exam on the 20th and plan to leave myself with a week of review, but for audit should i just really focus on the MC? I feel as though there is so much technical knowledge in addition to concepts that needs to be memorized that can’t be adequately learned through constant MC.

    Thoughts?

AUD was my first test and I overlapped studying for this test with about 3 weeks left of my audit class in school. Becker kept pushing memorizing the audit reports and how they are worded for all types(Attestation, Review, etc). I felt that was a good exercise, but like everyone else a strong combination of reading and MC questions to see how differently the exact same question can be asked was very helpful.

AUD is the test I felt had the least amount to cover, so the test was able to go into so much more depth and minute areas. The other tests had so much to go over that they rarely went more than superficial in their calcs/theories/etc. AUD loved testing the same thing multiple times and in multiple ways.

Sorry if this was kinda vague, just how I went about studying.

    AUD - 05/27/11 - 81
    FAR - 07/05/11 - 83
    REG - 08/06/11 - 91
    BEC - 08/29/11 - 87
    Ethics - 95

I used a ton of note cards for AUD. A note card for everything that I needed to memorize. Lots of MCQs + Note Cards.

    FAR: 71, 77
    BEC: 70, 82
    AUD: 62, 78
    REG: 71, 68, 85

AUD was the only section where I really found the Becker flash cards useful. I also was able to get most of the Wiley Online Test Bank questions on the first try after reviewing with Becker

    BEC - 86
    AUD - 94
    REG - 88
    FAR - 89
