Passing Audit with just Becker?

Has there been many people here that passed Becker with just Audit (no supplements)? I’ve been hearing a lot of people comment on here that they felt that Becker didn’t prepare them well for Audit. My test is this week and I’m getting really nervous. I usually use Becker and supplement with Ninja and Wiley, but with Audit I haven’t had as much time to study and have mainly been using Becker. I’ve only listed to the Ninja audio once, haven’t had time to review the notes and I just started reviewing the Wiley test bank a few days ago.

Becker, Wiley Test Bank, and Ninja 10 Point Combo!

    FAR: 89
    REG: 87
    AUD: 92
    BEC: 75
    Ethics: 90

You can definitely do it, especially considering your REG and FAR scores. I pretty much only used Becker. I bought the Ninja notes, but only had time to skim over them once. I think Becker was perfectly sufficient… I got a 92. Good luck!!

    FAR 7/3/13 - 82
    BEC 8/21/13 - 82
    AUD 10/2/13 - 92
    REG 12/3/13 - 88

    DONE!!!! CA Candidate

Becker was great for audit, great for everything in my opinion. Just make sure you do 100% of all the material and MC questions at least 2x, some more than that and you will be good.

Well for me Becker did not get the job done. Failed it 3x in a row. Finally passed it when I switched over to Roger. To me, Roger helped explain everything in a different light to a point where I was excited. Went in the testing center more confident too. Everyone is different.

    Passed all 4 parts exam.

I passed using 99% Becker. I added in Wiley online test bank just during my last week of final review. I thought Becker did a great job on AUD.

I passed audit 1st try only using Becker and no supplements or other sources of practice MCQ's. It was before I had even heard of A71 or ninja material. I followed the Becker program to the T and it worked for this section. I think my 3 year audit background helped (although I had been removed from doing it for about 6 or 7 years). I also passed BEC pretty much soley using Becker. I bought NINJA notes, but didn't really refer to them, maye read through once. I only added WTB for additional questions on the last couple days of review.

I did not pass REG or FAR using Becker only though, I added NINJA and got a FAR pass a month after my fail with just Becker. I'm using NINJA and WTB along with my Becker textbook (Becker expired) and hoping for a REG win next month.

But again, back to your original question, yes I passed AUD with Becker only.

    AUD - 90 Pass
REG - 70,61,81 Pass DONE DONE DOOOOONNEEE!!!!!!!!
    BEC - 79 - Pass
    FAR - 70,82 - Pass

I passed AUD using only Becker materials. I think the Becker AUD material was the best of the bunch; it adequately — yet concisely — prepares you for the actual exam. The mnemonics were mostly silly, but that's another story!

The key to audit is UNDERSTANDING the material, though, not just memorizing it. Audit in college was tricky for me because I had never worked as an auditor, yet the actual exam was much easier because I had since gained audit experience. This meant that I could match all these conceptual ideas to actual real life experiences, which made the exam much easier.

    REG - 93 (7/30/13)
    BEC - 90 (8/19/13)
    AUD - 98 (8/31/13)
    FAR - 84 (10/19/13)

Just Becker for AUD is doable. I didn't do the SIMS (only read over the answers a few days before the exam) and I didn't do the final exams. I got a 92. Becker is just fine.

    - passed all 4 exams on my first try using Becker!

    Ethics: TBD
