Well, I got my score yesterday, and to my pleasant surprise I scored a 99 on audit! I am not one to gloat, but I am really curious– does this happen often?

Yes – it's allowed. Disclosing exam questions is what is prohibited.

What's the deal here? I'm usually as skeptical as anyone, but why doesn't anyone believe he got a 99?

I choose to take him/her at his word. Not like Jeff is handing out $1,000,000 to the next person to get a 99 on AUD lol!

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

I wouldn't be skeptical except there was a thread that had been bumped a little earlier where someone fretted about their exam and scored a 99…it was quite a coincidence…that's all.

Plus – brand new poster … IP had been used before by other users … just making sure we weren't being punk'd.

More substantive procedures is all this is…AR is up … must bring DR down … sort of thing.

Ha! Well I am at work which is at a hotel with public wi-fi, so perhaps that is why the IP is recognized. I have not ever posted on this site before.

It happens with public firms too … I also want to see what an actual 99 looks like … closest I ever got was a 92 🙂

Speaking of 99, has anyone ever gotten a 99 on BEC? I've seen people on forums score 99 on REG, FAR and AUD, but I have yet to see someone report that kind of score on BEC. Seems kinda odd!

And hey, if someone says they scored a 99, I'll believe them. After all, my FAR score was a 99….. minus 10. 😉

Haha, yea the ironic thing is I only joined on here BECAUSE I got a 99, in an attempt to find out the pervasiveness of this score. But, you're entitled to be skeptical. After all, we are supposed to be skeptical right??

I believe you. Just got one myself.

    FAR: (2/29/12) - 93
    BEC: (4/5/12) - 93
    REG: (5/30/12) - 87
    AUD: (7/5/12) - 99

Congrats on your score..just don't get cocky since you can't apply extra points to other parts. Good luck!!

I'm sure someone has scored a 99 before on BEC. I mean I scored a 97, so someone must have been able to score 2 points higher than me! haha It's probably just less frequent because BEC is pretty much no accounting which most CPA candidates are most familiar with, naturally. However, for me, coming from a finance/business background in college, it is the material I'm most familiar with. In fact, all of the accounting material is my weakness, unfortunately!

    @ cardinalhoya

I would also love to find out how you approached FAR (not sure if you saw my question earlier)

    FAR 83
    AUD 87
    REG 82
    BEC score pending
