Hey guys I am new to this forum but I have been mooching info off of you guys for a few months, finally thought I should join the dark side. Kidding. I am taking Audit on April 19th, so about 6 days from today. I have purchased the Becker Review Course. Im doing real well in the practice questions, exams and what not. My only concern is that I am getting accustomed to Becker questions and formats and will be completely shocked by the actual audit test. I have two reasons for this fear. First, I know the Audit test is completely different than in the past, so I am worried Becker is guessing more or less. Second, I fear that I am nailing everything that Becker is teaching me off of aforementioned guessing. I am getting around 85-90 on the multiple choice and practice tests and all the info that Becker provides I feel confident in. I am just worried I will miss out on something just because of my over reliance on Becker. Anyone have thoughts, similar fears, ideas? I have left myself with 6 days to review and possible study other materials. Thanks guys!

I haven't studied for AUD yet but I think as a general answer here most people would recommend trying the Wiley Test Bank for extra MCQs. If I were in that situation and I was only 6 days out from the exam, I'd do some questions on CPA Review for Free and then take a practice test through the AICPA and look at the 2011 released MCQs/SIMs. Sounds like you're doing great–good luck!

You have put yourself in a really great position, so first of all good job on that.

Becker does a great job of preparing you for the format of the exam and, in my opinion, the content. If you want to do some more review with a different outlook, I would pick up Jeff's Ninja Notes. I didn't use anything other than Becker, but everyone on here swears by Jeff's notes.

I think overall, you are doing great. 85-90 on Becker questions is usually a good sign. Audit is tough for sure, but you prepared yourself for it. It is not an impossible task, so remember that. Other people have passed it before, and so can you.

Overall, Becker is able to be relied on as a stand alone course. If you truly understand what is being presented to you, you should be ok. Don't get cocky now though, Audit was a tough test.

I agree with EELCPA – trying something different might would be a good supplement, you can get too comfortable with the questions when going over the same questions over and over…no matter what product you are using. I find using two different products helps.

Thanks guys, really appreciate the help! Im currently not working (looking but not working at the moment) so studying is my life right now. I've just heard horror stories about the Sims from people. Will check out Wiley and AICPA for sure. Cheers.

I will second the AICPA practice exam. Pay attention to their SIM examples too.
