One week until AUD exam, best way to review?

I just finished A6 today and went through all the lectures, homework, sims and took notes on every chapter. What is the best way to attack the review? I have my exam next Wed.

I didn’t feel that any section really was extremely difficult except maybe the transaction cycles. I feel that the McQ in Becker are very repetitive, straightforward and almost not as challenging as the ones I saw for FAR & BEC. I was considering doing the Final Exam and then re-reading each chapter and maybe just doing progress tests but I’m not sure if those are the best use of time.

    Any suggestions?

Don't reread each chapter… just your notes if you took good ones.

Redo the homework for the heavily tested areas, Reports, Internal Control, Responsibilities, etc.

Then do another review beginning with your weakest areas.

You should be working an insane amount of MCQ. To the point you want to throw you computer out of the window.

With Audit, they get you in the wording of questions. You have to know the ins and outs of an audit, from planning through testing and opinions. You should be able to read a question and know exactly what they are looking for without a feeling of needing a translator.

Also, you should work EVERY RESEARCH SIM available.

You can use the Authoritative Literature for all sims on test day. So even though it's not a research sim, you can reference the AL and search for information and possibly find the answer. So you should be very familiar with the AL and where/how to find information quickly.

Try working some sims and searching for clues in the AL. You'll be surprised how helpful this will be on exam day. It could be the difference between pass and fail.

    Good Luck!
