Hi all, so I have posted on here just a few times so far. I have been studying quite hard, and have finished chapter 6 this morning for AUD in Becker (did roughly 2 chapters a week). I plan to go back and do all of the multiple choice and simulations for each note and make note of each area where I struggle so that I can go back to those areas. I also plan to review the mnemonics, the Ninja Notes, Becker flash cards, and I have a Wiley book that I may use for supplemental areas. I will take Becker final review exams next weekend I believe. I struggle the most with ratios and some of the sampling questions. I don’t even plan on watching the Superbowl next week (Go Pats!) and instead will be studying and reviewing last minute areas of concern. Is there anything I am not thinking of and/or wasting my time doing? Thank you in advance!

What helped me with knowing the ratios was printing a sheet with all the ratios and leaving them blank. Each night before bed I rewrote the ones I could remember. I also did that during lunch at work. The ones I would not remember I looked up and wrote out. After 2 weeks of doing that I could remember the ratios.

I would for sure know the ratios and how certain increases/decreases affects them. You don't want to run into a situation where you get a SIM on it and be a deer in headlights

I highly recommend taking at least one of the final review exams now, like today or tomorrow. That way you can gauge where you are and see what you need to focus on. Remember, practice exams aren't there for us to pass them, they are there for us to get a feel of what the test is like and to see where our weak spots are.

I'd say that you are looking pretty good! Just stick to your schedule and hammer those MCQ's and SIMS. Practice examinations are tough, I found myself not benefiting from them as much as working individual problems. I feel like having 3-4 hours of straight questions was too long to get proper review in. Although, it may be beneficial to help simulate an exam if you have not yet taken one.
