I test later this month for Audit. I just took a practice test from CPA Excel and received a 73.
Total Time 2 Hours 55 MinutesMy MCQ testlets I got a 72%/72%/74%
The simulation testlets I got an 80% on the first one then a 67% on the next one, which I think is total B.S. because the correct simulation answer was AU-C 315.15 and I answered AU-C 315.A50, so I got the entire question wrong. I thought the research question was graded into those three sections? And that took off 33 percent for that entire testlet for that one minuscule mistake. I didn’t know the research question was either 100 percent correct or 0 percent correct.
(I also know those five numbers average out to 73 so I’m not sure if 73 is my actual score or just my percentage of questions answered correctly).
My problem is, I know that CPA Excel simulations are alot easier than the actual CPA Exam, and i’m sure the mcqs are easier on CPAExcel too. I know this because when I tested for FAR, the simulations were way easier during my review course and were way harder during my actual exam.
Has anyone taken Wiley CPAExcel practice tests and felt this way? Does anyone have any advice for my final week of studying? I’m also using Ninja MCQs as a supplement.
