For 2 of the ratios, the equations are as follows:

Cash to debt coverage ratio = net cash from operations / avg total liabilities

Current cash to debt ratio = net cash from operations / avg current liabilities

So, what exactly is “net cash from operations,” i.e. how do you get to it?

Similar ratio is “Cash Flow-to-Debt ratio = Operating Cash Flow/Total Debt” which is same as

“Cash flow coverage ratio = (Net Earnings + Depreciation + Amortization) / Total Debt”
