I failed my AUD exam for the third time, and also my materials is expired (Becker). I plan to take my exam in mid or end of Jan. Any advice on what materials I can purchase for this section?

hey, I failed also. If you have the financial resources then try Gleim. I am getting Gleim today. It helped me pass BEC.

I really believe that if you are on a budget Ninja Notes, Ninja MCQs, and Flashcards could probably get it done. Now I didn't pass AUD either, but Ninja MCQs for just BEC worked…barely.

If you're really on a budget, you can buy a used Wiley book on eBay for ~$20 bucks, Ninja Flashcards for $7, and use the CPA For Free website. That's what I did for REG and I passed the first time.

Having used both Wiley and Becker, I don't think the program matters all that much. All of these study materials are extremely similar and cover the same basic content. You just have to learn the material, whatever way you can using whatever method works best for you.

Hello everyone,

Might be a silly question, but need help with a game plan.

Am scheduled to take my audit exam (attempt 2) on February 6, 2015. I will be purchasing NINJA MCQ's, and Sims package in couple of days… I have worked with Becker before (got 68) – so for this upcoming attempt – I have read the textbook by Becker, and solved MCQ's, and Sims once (used Becker).

My question is:

Beginning from January 3 to February 5 is it sufficient time to go over all the MCQ's and Sims from NINJA package? If so, what should I keep the target of solving XX number of MCQ's per day? Also, am unemployed now. I think I can go over once all the MCQ's and Sims. But I also want to set a realistic goal. Also, do you think I can review this twice before my exam?

Any help/suggestions greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance for your time and help!

I haven't ever used ninja so Idk, but I did all of my audit studying in 3 weeks while working and it was plenty. It's just about understanding. I wouldn't concentrate so much on doing all the questions twice as doing them all and knowing WHY a the right answer is actually right for each of them. I knew I was ready for my exam when I could read a question for audit and think out loud what the solution would be without needing to look at the answers (not memorizing, but understanding). I know this doesn't really answer your question but I'd say that's plenty of time. Just focus on quality. My goal was always 250-300 questions a day if I had time to study at work, and no fewer than 100 ever even if I couldn't start till late. Good Luck.

Hi, 12 r p. Talk with someone at your local library and ask if they carry any CPA review books. This way you can save some cash.

I've failed audit twice it's so frustrating. I'm going to schedule my exam in mid February so I have the most study time and the least amount of wait time. My suggeston would only be do as many sims and mcqs as possible. Keep doing them. That's what I am going to be doing. Hopefully it will work.
