    Took audit today. I really couldn’t tell if the MCQs got harder. But I have to say, I feel like Becker and Wiley did a great job on the MCQs. All I have to say is, don’t skip the ancillary material. I did the MCQs in 1.5 hours and used up the rest on the SIMS. The sims were hard, but that’s expected. I didn’t luck out and get 2 research questions like I did on REG. I’m pretty sure I know which one was the experimental one. Overall, I’m not sure how I did, but I’m hoping for the best. ><

    i'm doing the wiley material right now and got this headache on monday… i'm scoring now in the mid 80's to low 90's… how does that sound with regards to the exam?

    also, on the sims, if the sim has two parts for each question, does it matter on the real exam what order i place the answers in? like for example, if answer choices are a-i, and each blank has the same answer choices, does it matter if in the first blank i put c and the second i put a (considering these are correct answers), or does it have to go a and then c?

    when i do the sims on wiley i am getting answers wrong because i'm doing this. i just read bottom to top so it makes more sense to me, i hope the real test isnt this way because breaking habits is hard.

    BEC: Done
    REG: Done
    AUD: Done
    FAR: Done

    I'M DONE!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    80's to 90's is great for MCQ's. I was getting 75%-80% for wiley. 90% for Becker, but that's because I had memorized a lot of things. I think on the SIMS each blank wont be the same answer choices. Like for example, one column will ask what assertion it deals with and the 2nd will ask, how will you test it (not that I had this, but just an example). BTW, make use of authoritative literature if you're stuck on something. You'd be surprised at the kinds of information it has. But to use this feature, you have to leave a lot of time for SIMS, which is what you should do.

    I felt the same way, in that I couldn't figure out how I did. Couldn't really tell that the testlests got harder. My last one seemed to be tougher–but who knows? The sims were definitely tough. At least the wait isn't so bad. I am not hopeful, but I would love some good news.

    Best of luck to you–I hope you get good news on Audit!

    For research, just practice a couple and you should be fine. For the rest of the SIMS, you should try a handful or 2 of them just to get a feel. I felt like practicing SIMS did help, but it'll never completely prepare you for the real thing.

    @yankee

    I'll be hoping for the best for the both of us! A week and a half to go till we find out…

    Nothing impressive honestly, especially if you consider the fact that I've been an auditor for a year. I don't think the first run through is that big of a deal. But I was usually getting in the 70s. Once or twice I would get lower or higher. I really recommend doing the supplemental questions as well.

    I'll be embarrassed to fail this exam since I do audit for a job…><
