This will be my last exam, passed the other 3 with first attempt using becker. Any suggestion for audit? Heard people said it’s hard, but it had the highest passing rate. I head most of it is memorizing the theory and rules with minimum calculation and alot of the question had two answer and want the “best” answer!

My AUD exam was all theory for the MCQ sections, but I did have some simple calculations on the sims. My suggestion is to memorize the basic Audit, Review, and Compilation reports. Also, you need an understanding of the overall audit process.

Study and read the becker book and do all questions at least twice. Then 4 100 MC cumulative quizzes, then both final exams.

    You'll get a 92 like me.

I also use Becker and already passed FAR and Audit. Becker does a good job on Audit and if you spend the minimum time on Audit you will pass. FYI know the how to use the research database (not just for the research question).

Audit is the trap exam. You might start studying and think that it's not as tough as the other exams. It seems that way, but questions are very subtle and tricky. There is a lot of stuff to first memorize and then truly understand (eg Internal Control)

    Good luck!

Good suggestions in this post, only thing I can add is to have solid fundamental accounting skills such as entries.

I wish I could take AUD for you and you could take REG for me haha.

    Good luck.

    FAR - 7/25/11 - 79
    AUD - 11/29/11 - 93
    REG - 2/29/12 - 86
    BEC - 4-5/XX/12

@SunDevil13, I'll trade you REG for AUD!

    AUD 81 (X4) Previous scores 59, 72, 72
    REG 80 (X3) Previous scores 59, 60
    FAR 75 (X2) Previous score 67
    BEC 79 (X2) Previous score 58

I just took the AUD section and totally failed but it was my first exam so hopefully i will pass the next ones on the first try! I actually thought I did well and studied well but I guess I didn't study hard enough. The multiple choice questions are tricky because it's always like pick the best answer when all of them can be correct (I hate that!) Just be familiar with the audit reports, audit procedures, and audit assertions. I had a hard time with the simulations because they are so random, you just don't know what topic it will cover and there's so much material to cover. Goodluck, you can do it! It's your last one!

    AUD - 11/27/2011 63 worst feeling ever!
REG - 02/27/2012 58 horrible! didn't prep as well as first exam
    BEC - 03/02/2012 - 71 (my best score yet!)
    FAR - 05/18/2012 - 51

Using Becker review materials for all parts

Audit has some of the easiest material but it is not the easiest to pass. It was my lowest score. I think the score required to pass is a little higher than the other exams because so many candidates work in audit and see this stuff every day.

    Bec 4/11/11 91
    Aud 7/11/11 75
    Reg 8/31/11 80
    Far 5/24/11 86
