The most important subject in AUD is for you to remember AUD is a process. In that management and auditors discuss a possible engagement, auditors have to determine independence, the audit has to be planned, accounts tested, report completed, opinion issued.

For me simply stating what was to be done then going back and filling in the why's and how's helped as well as talking through the process with my spouse. Don't over think AUD its more or less reading a map. You have to determine where you are on the map then very carefully read the question being asked instead of the one you want to answer. This is what gives ppl fits with this section. Do not hastily rush in and begin answering MCQs. Read the stem of the questions, then look at the facts of the question, then start the decision process of how to answer. This is the approach that worked for me.
