I am studying Auditing Becker at the moment. It seems that memorising everything (of course with understanding) is time-consuming for me. I was wondering if I can get the man idea and say it in my own words. Would that be sufficient? Or would I face some marks reduction in this way? I aim for a good mark, the best I could get. This seems contradictory, but time is thickening its hold on me.

Memorize the standard audit report then learn the differences between report types. You can't put it in your own words, it is specific. For the simulations remember you can refer to the authoritative literature if needed for ALL of them, so try to familiarize yourself with the search function.
