Is there a website or someplace that has a list of definitions for the terminology used in AUD, in particular regarding the Internal Control-Transaction Cycle area? This stuff is way over my head. Seriously, it makes you wonder who comes up with these names. Some things of what I’m referring to are:

Accounts receivable subsidiary ledger

Bank deposit slip

Bill of lading

Cash receipts journal

General ledger

Monthly bank reconciliations

Remittance advice

Remittance listing

Sales order

Sales invoice

Shipping document
