I’m taking AUD on Saturday. I have gone thru the material pretty thoroughly. If anyone has any lat minute advice that might help me out or would like to share your experience with AUD I’d appreciate it. I know someone mentioned things from FAR being on there. I don’t have much time to go back and review FAR so I hope its not too bad.

My bro hazeeeeeeee!!!! Where have you been : ( For AUD. My best recommendation is to memorize all the importan concepts (flashcards are great if you bought them or made them yourself). Also, focus on internal controls and evidence.

I wish you the best on that exam, I know you will crush it!!!! I will be here by next release, pulling for you, man.

Herbert, wassup man? Yeah I wasn't on after I found out about REG. I got a 73. But later on I got kind of confident because I knew where I went wrong so I feel much better now about things. I am going to retake REG in a month. I feel pretty comfy with Evidence & IC. Pretty familiar with Reporting as well. I'm a little shaking on Sampling mostly PPS. Not sure what they will ask from Auditing with Technology. The chapter was short.

thanks haze!!!! REG was truly unfair on this quarter. The mcqs were so obscure and the sims were really my biggest nightmare. I know you will pass both next quarter and I will be here to celebrate with you. Audit sampling is not that important, so I bet you will pass : D

The flashcards are great, just like Herb said. I supplemented with the Wiley Test Bank, and while there were quite a few repeat questions, there were some things not covered in Becker that were on there. Becker did a really good job with AUD though. I was reviewing with the 2010 Becker material too and still felt very prepared when I took the test. I really didnt get a whole lot of technology questions. Know the formulas…..Not just how to make calculations with them, but what they are used for and what they are telling the Auditor

Hey all, I am not taking AUD for a couple weeks still but I was wondering how you manage to remember what you studied in AUD 1 when yout make it to AUD 4 and 5. I Feel like it's been ages since chpt 1 and there is so much info in each chapter (to me its a lot because everything is theoretical since I have NO audit experience at all). Any suggestions as to how to keep the info fresh in my mind until the exam?

@Haze.. I am retaking AUD, but from what I heard, work a lot on remembering the mnemonics and practice practice practice problems.. I hope this will be a better second time around for me and I am looking for all tips possible.. do not want to take this part more than twice..

I've done a ton of questions. Some stuff I am not sure will even be on the test. I did EVERY Wiley question in the book. It is hard to remember it all. Wiley doesn't have a lit of mnemonics. I've just done the best job I could trying to remember the info

You will do very good on AUD, Haze. At least you can answer all mcqs without being slammed by little obscure topics (REG). The sims are also a breeze compared to REG, so I'm pretty sure you will leave the exam feeling good about it and you will slay that exam!! : D

Herb, I just took a practice wiley exam and a gleims exam. I was getting hit with stuff I didn't know. I feel like I know A LOT of stuff yet I am not sure I know enuff to pass. )-:

Hey Herb, do you think I need to know the reports word for word. I know whats in them but I don't have them memorized word for word and I am not sure if that's essential.
