I used Becker for AUD. I think their text material covered every topic on the exam I took last month. I had the Wiley test banks but I did not even finished half of them. I was freak out by some questions shown on Wiley but not on Becker. Those questions had not shown up on my exam anyway. (Just my personal experience) I pass the exam by few points, but I feel if someone else studies harder and understands the material better than me, they should have gotten higher scores. I have read many post here, and noticed those with higher scores (in 90s) have used Flashcard. I just ordered BEC this morning and ordered the flash cards as well.

i just start to use Lambers for audit so i can't tell you if it's good or bad. (my aud will be scheduled in Nov 2011)………i like the instructor, Garland, and I also purchase wiley test bank for practicing.

    FAR 87 (8/19/11)
    AUD 83 (11/19/11)
    Reg 82 (2/25/12)
    BEC 78 (5/30/12)
    I'm done with studying!!!!!!

Another thing I like it is I can install all the video class to my iphone4 so when I have lunch break I can listen.

Also, they mail you CD and you need to print out all the handouts by yourself.

    FAR 87 (8/19/11)
    AUD 83 (11/19/11)
    Reg 82 (2/25/12)
    BEC 78 (5/30/12)
    I'm done with studying!!!!!!

i came back here to give my 2 cents abt LAMBERS after i pass

    1. instructor , Mr. Garland, is GREAT. (i'm working in backing industry so don't have any audit or accounting background)However, he only teaches around 85% of that. The rest areas are taught by other ppl and. (personally i think the rest of areas are weak and didn't prepare me well) (i purchased in Spe 2011, don't know if they change anything since then)

    2. strongly recommend to buy a test back as a supplemet if you want to use LAMBERS

    good luck!

    FAR 87 (8/19/11)
    AUD 83 (11/19/11)
    Reg 82 (2/25/12)
    BEC 78 (5/30/12)
    I'm done with studying!!!!!!

    @ rubie145,

i only bought teacher portion ( they provided me 2 CDs: one for handouts/material: need to print out by myself and one for video)

i also bought Wiley test bank as supplement through Jeff (this website).

what I did is do a tons of MCQ, and learn the material from MCQ to cover areas LAMBERS doesn't cover

hope this will help u to make decision, if u need more detail please let me know : )

    FAR 87 (8/19/11)

I also had Lambers and I was very impressed by Garland:I did not need to memorize any strange mnemonics, and I easily understood most key concepts. Most of all, I think he helped me enjoy studying for Audit .

    I also supplemented with:

1- Wiley Test bank , which covers areas that Lambers does not cover , practicing all questions and all sims once, twice, three times (by the time of my exam I had banked 2000 questions and hundreds of sim questions)

    2- cpareviewforfree ( around 500 questions at least once-some twice ),

3-AICPA 2011 released questions and sims, at least twice (very important)

4-AICPA practice questions and sims (very important)

    https://www.aicpa.org/BecomeACPA/CPAExam/ForCandidates/TutorialandSampleTest/Pages/exam_tutorial_parallel.aspx

5 -One Gleim review test in the last week -very interesting questions.

After all these I was still surprised by around 15-20 questions in my test from subjects not discussed in any of these sources, and 3 or 4 of my sims also came out of nowhere. I left the exam knowing that I had studied my best and I performed my best, but not confident that I passed .

I scored 85 and I am very happy, and I promised I would leave my feedback on Lambers. I bought the review because somebody else on this site had recommended it , and I am very happy with my choice:

    Lambers+Wiley test bank+ cpareviewforfree+AICPA questions=AUDIT PASS!!!

Thank you both for coming back to respond to this thread…as you see im my signature I failed Audit I used wiley but I will admit i was on a time crunch so i know i didnt prepare as I should, I have accepted that and am ready to kill AUD exam. I have wiley material and testbank and have lamber test software which also gives me PDF for each chapter to print. have to say what I have read this far lamber print offs are much more indepth so I think this will help me in my trouble areas. Im going to use there test software as well as wiley and if I have time try cpareviewforfree!!! I have planned out each hour of my day so I can get the most possible study time in before my rematch with AUD!!! Thanks again and if you have any tips or advice feel free to share!!

REG 10/01/2011- failed retake hopefully May 2012
    AUD 11/30/2011- failed retake 1/9/2012
    BEC 2/25/2012 -
    FAR-TBD
