I just finished taking AUD and I felt really good on certain parts and not so good on others. I can truely say that Becker prepared me well for AUD, I dont feel as if there was anything surprising on the exam, its just that on some parts I had a hard time retaining the information. I would say that the 2010 AICPA released questions helped as well. I would suggest anyone taking AUD in the next few days to look over those questions. One of the parts that tripped me up was the 2nd WC….i had no clue what they were asking of me to write. I never felt so stumped on a question before. The other parts of the SIMS were pretty straight forward and what I didnt remember, I was able to use the research tab to look up. Here’s hoping for a passing score!! I kept saying….3 down 1 to go during the exam. I passed REG and FAR and im hoping i passed AUD. I plan to sit for BEC January 2011.

I took AUD about 10 days ago. I used Becker and felt well prepared going into it. This was the first time I took it, and wasn't sure what to expect as far as my timing. Surprisingly, I was done the entire thing with over 90 minutes left. I'm not sure if thats a good thing or a bad thing. I finished all MC testlets in a little over an hour, and had tons of time for the sims. I was most nervous about the simulations, but compared to the simulations I had on FAR, I didn't think they were that bad. I think the written parts gave me the most trouble, but I still managed to come up with an okay (in my opinion) answer. So I'm going to wait impatiently for this score, because I am getting discouraged rather quickly. I'm taking REG on January 7th, so I'm back to studying for that this week. It's been a great 10 days or so without studying.

detroitcpahopeful – Same thing happened to me, there's no suprise question during the exam. Once I finsihed the exam, I felt nothing, didn't feel good or bad, I just felt that it's a relieved after I completed the exam. I think I did pretty good on the MC part, but once I heard people saying they got really hard quesions. I don't know how people defined very hard question. I feel that the MC on the exam is very similar to the Beckers one. so, I didn't feel that I get any very hard question, kind of worry that it means that I didn't do well on the exam. I agree with you that Becker prepared us well for the exam. I did okay for the 1st Sim, i think I screwed the 2nd one since I didn't have enough time. I don't know how I should feel. I didn't feel bad, but I can't say I would pass this exam.

I too had no feeling good or bad on the exam. I felt like I knew the material and had to mark 2 for the first testlet, and 4 & 5 for the following testlets respectively. I am not sure on how to gauge weather or not a testlet got “harder” I know that on the second testlet the first question out of the gate was on material that was not previously tested on in the first testlet ie (concept wise dealing with fluctuating IR, CR, and DR) and it seemed like the questions were worded trickier than that of the previous testlet. Even though I noticed this, I dont think the material was that much “harder” than the first, I think there was different material/concepts tested though. The simualtions I felt were somewhat of a joke. The Becker Sims were a lot more difficult than the ones I had – ie (review engagement wording). The writing was okay and the research was on target. But I am with both of you in that I am not sure how to feel. I feel confident, but then I read through posts and scratch my head and think “mine didn't get harder, ive got to reschedule”.

yeah I feel the same…after I read through the posts..and wonder…how come mine didn't get harder……and then I started to worry more than more that ..I probably failed the exam……sigh…..sorry about showing my negative feeling..just worry a lot lately….

guys, i could never guess what level questions i got from the 3 testlets, but there is a sign for me that I received all same levels, cuz in the 2nd and 3rd testlets, there were two similar structured & worded questions asking me the opposite things, so I must have assumed it was the same diffculty level on my 2nd and 3rd testlets.

Also, I found out i did a couple things wrong in my sims too, so i dunno how well i could do on this AUD, I am so stressed out now. I feel im so useless…….

I am praying so hard everyday, god plz give me a chance to pass AUD~

good news everyone. I passed AUD with an 87!! woooo hoooo!! three down and one to go (BEC). Here's to hoping you all received passign scores as well. I was really nervous cause I did not think my testlets got harder, I thought they stayed the same level of difficulty. well anywho…..im so happy right now!
