Thanks, guys! I truly thought that I failed after the AUD exam. It's the only exam that I had that feeling. Maybe because audit is the kind of exam you have to guess between two answers and not 100% sure most of the time. The research question I got was the toughest among the 4 parts, the answer I picked was not the right answer I know for sure. So I think that research question can be a pretest tab.
To share my thoughts after the exam:
1. I took BEC first, just liked to get some ideas how the real exam looks like. If let me choose again, I would take FAR first! So I don't have to worry about the credit lost. 18 months was barely enough for me.
2. Take audit after FAR if possible, because AUD simulation requires basic FAR concept. You can tell from the Becker review simulations. Of course, understand the MCQ help simulation the most.
3. Read textbook once and take notes. I typed about 20 page notes per chapter. Most of my notes are in tables, that way I can compare the similarity and differences of those confusing concepts and methods.
4. I reviewed my notes two times before the exam.
5. Do all of the MCQ at least two times. I marked 1/3 of the MCQ for my final review, so itβs manageable during the final review week. I also marked about 10 β 15 MCQ each chapter just for the last minute review. These are the questions that I did wrong every single time. And those are the concepts tested the most.
4. I watched Jeff's audit report video right before test. It helped me earn points just based on that 2 min. review!! Thanks Jeff!
5. One last thing, when apply NTS, make sure that it will cover the whole test window. That way, you have more flexibility.
Based on my experience, using Becker material is good enough. Just make sure that you review the ancillarity material, sometime that can be the heavily tested concepts.
Hope these helps! Good luck everyone!
