I’ve just started studying AUD. I wonder whether it’s enough time if I take the exam on 30 Nov? How many hours should I spend for AUD? Any suggestions or advice to conquer AUD? I plan to spend 20 hours each weeks so with 5 weeks I have 100 hours.

It really varies from person to person. I know that I would be able to do it, with study time on the evenings and weekends. That's about the amount of time that I put into studying for my Audit exam. I didn't start studying at all until after 4/17. I studied on nights and weekends after that and took two additional days off of work and took my exam on May 8th.

All you need for AUD is a month of test prep. Do 8 hours on Saturday and Sunday, then 2-3hrs each weekday and you will be good.

NIU CPA Review Correspondence is awesome!

I passed all four sections on the first attempt

Don't count the hours, count on being able to thoroughly get done with the material.

It took me 20 days to study for AUD, sat on the 21st day.

So yes, the time you have is plenty between today and Nov 30th, how you choose to use the time is the question.

    Thanks cpatime. You're totally right.

I've just checked Prometric and they do not have any available seats left on Nov :((…

Do you have any audit experience?

I had 1 year of audit experience before I took AUD and it REALLY helped. I was immediately familiar with many concepts in the becker study.

I can't remember how long it took me to study…maybe 1.5-2 months. But I like to give myself extra time so I can pace myself. It really is about how well you study, and not so much just the # of hours.

Yep, I worked for 1 Big4 in my country for 1 year before I moved to US. Yeah, I feel much more comfortable and motivated when studying AUD in compared with FAR (T.T).

Yeah, I keep checking Prometric several times a day…
