Feeling OK I suppose. Although when I finished the BEC exam I felt as though I crushed it, turns out I just barely squeaked by.

    MCQs

I’d guess 70% I feel really good about the answers, 25% I reduced to two possible answers and trusted my gut for choosing the right one, the other 5%…just guessed

    SIMS

Oh my, oh my. I don’t want to elaborate too much on these, but man, some of these were just brutal. I know I got one entirely correct, and two mostly correct. The others…ouch. Even the Wiley sims didn’t prepare me for those.

    hey sacred theory!

sounds like you did well. it is so hard to put any stock into the sims. it seems like this window more people are saying how difficult the sims were. Keep the faith! I remember last window there were a slew of people who felt badly on the sims on REG and they still passed. Since the grading process is shrouded in mystery, it is hard to quantify how one did. Put the whole thing behind you and enjoy Turkey Day with your family.

I am sitting on 11/23, and I know when I get to the sims, it will be a roll of the dice–come on snake eyes!

^^ IMO the CPA is something you either know or don't know. I left audit with 1.5 hrs left, FAR with 1 hr left, and BEC with maybe 20-30 mins. Granted the research function is good for some SIMS, it is worthless for others.

I agree with youngbizman. I've left every exam with at least 45 mins to spare not because I give up. But because I know what I know, and pretending like if I stare at things I don't know will help will only make me angry. When I realllllly don't understand something on a SIM, I'll try and research it for a few minutes, give it my best shot, and move on. I'll always comeback to them at the end just to see if something stocks out, but staring at it for another hour is not going to spark any revelations for me.

I'm confused, I didn't mention anything about rushing through the sims or the mcqs
