July AUD review materials- use old or get new? - Page 2

I have a couple sets of older review materials (2012-2013b) for audit but I’m hesitant to use them because I know changes have been made to the content on the 2014 exam. Should I use those materials and just use a supplemental system (aka Ninja) to make up the difference or would it be more beneficial to buy a new set of materials for audit? I don’t want to feel like I’m wasting time learning content that will no longer be on the exam but at the same time, I don’t want to shell out 100s of dollars. Any opinions about the tradeoff or how to go about studying the older material without getting bogged down by nonessential info?

    Thanks!

Hi Jeff, I have 2013 Becker Version B. Is it still outdated?

If it has the Clarity materials segregated then that's better than if they were integrated. It's a judgement call.

I just bought the 2014 wiley book for audit. Will that be okay for me to take the test in mid-August? Or will I need to buy a different book?

@AScott, I bought the Wiley book as well. I'm planning to use it in combination with the NINJA 10 Point Combo. Hopefully that'll be enough! I'm planning to take AUD on 7/18 so I'm hoping it will be sufficient!

@ThePhoenix Fingers crossed for both of us then. I'm gonna rewrite the notes then read them through at least five times. I'll probably watch each video and take notes on them. I'm gonna run those MCQs until I'm sick of them.
