I am studying for my audit re-take and can’t remember from the first time I took it if the FASB code is available in the AL for the SIMS. I tried looking in the forums and found this question for the FAR exam but I am curious if it’s available for AUD. I have the Wiley test bank for AUD and the FASB code it is included in the SIM research but I don’t see it in the Becker software. Does anyone know?! Thanks!!

@Derf are you sure? I could be wrong, but I thought the only exam which included the FASB Codification was FAR. I recall AUD only including the various auditing standards.

I haven't taking Audit yet, but on FAR they don't include GASB, so I'm going to assume that you only get the audit info.

Nope, no FASB in audit. Too bad, because it would have made my SIMs much much easier….

hm,

well now that i read “5280_CPA_Hopeful” i am not too sure..i THOUGHT i saw all FASB and AL codes in both FAR and AUD exams.

but i took those long time ago, and maybe i'm confusing it with seeing it on Wiley.

Thanks for the replies, yes derf Wiley is confusing me as well because they include the FASB code on the AUD sims and so that made me question if it was on the actual exam. 5280 – my thoughts exactly. They should be included (in a perfect world) because some of those SIMS are FAR related.
