I read 2-3 subtopics and take notes. Then I go into MCQ and answer 5 questions in the subtopic. My plan is to review my notes every Sunday.

Is this an effective way? Cause my scores are high right now but I’m thinking that’s due to the fact that I’m answering topics that are fresssssh in my mind

I think you're on the right track. I recommend that you bump your mcqs up to 10-20 for each sub-section, paying close attention to your weak areas, and a SIM for the entire section. When you finish a section, do a cumulative session of 20 mcqs with a SIM thrown in for bonus points. Be sure to note yor weak areas.

You will notice that as you progress with a cumulative approach, your weak areas will persist until you address them properly.

    Ethics, here I come!

@ANOTHER72 I don't know what resources you're using (Ninja, Becker, Wiley, or some other resource), but I would definitely make sure you're doing a cumulative review, periodically. You mentioned scoring high, but in the areas you're comfortable with. Throw in other areas in which you're week, and see where you need to focus more attention. These exams have so much material as “fair game,” and it's hard to know EVERYTHING, but just make sure you're reviewing all areas, maybe focusing more diligently in areas that are historically “heavily tested.”

    You're gonna do great!

A couple tips I found that helped me with audit:

    1) Draw your own (as opposed to finding one online) decision tree that shows the different audit opinions and when you would use one versus the other (think Pervasive + Material = ____, Material w/o Pervasive = ___) . Also add a few notes on the tree about wording (i.e. where would the Other Matter paragraph go?). These are easy concepts that can result in easy points for you.

    2) Make sure you diagram the stages of an audit and what the key things are in each stage. For example, where are analytical procedures done? When are substantive procedures done? These are also easy points, as some of the answers on the exam can be eliminated by knowing where things fall in the process.

Isoceles best comment ever. I wish I would have seen it that way. I guess I don't think of the obvious. I just hope I passed
